Potty Rewards!

Friday morning Miss J finally figured out the potty and most likely because she really wanted Ma to paint her toes blue before she went back to MI...

A little blue paint and Julia's ultimate bribe (it took me a while to figure out!)...Gummy Tummies Penguins and I think we may be on our way...

For a special treat Julia picked out three new polish colors...gold, orange and purple (YIKES!), but I don't care as long as we can give up the diapers!

Outlet Shopping

We did a little outlet mall shopping while Ma & Pa were visiting from MI...

Julia's First Haircut

Julia finally had her first haircut...

Julia was super excited and loved playing while she waited her turn...

She checked out all of the equipment...

and she sat perfectly still though the entire haircut and blow dry...

The Little Assistant

Jack loves building things and he loves tools...he was in his glory helping Pa with some furniture assembly!

What's in the package?

We got home from playing this afternoon and a huge box was sitting on the front porch.  They couldn't wait until Dad got home so they could help him open it and they couldn't have been more excited when they saw all of these snacks...

Kids Town

I have become addicted to Groupons and LivingSocial (another type of coupon!).  Today we took advantage of one of our Groupons and went to Kids Town in Wheaton.  J & J played with their friends for over 4 hours (we got our moneys worth!).  Kids Town was super fun with different play areas (grocery store, princess play, dance party, animal clinic, police station, slides...) and a favorite was all of the cars that they could drive around the town!

Swimming & Tennis

We have been keeping super busy this summer, but I have been doing a horrible job taking pictures.  All of the pictures would probably look the same...we have been spending tons of time at the pool and tennis courts.

Fireworks!

J & J's first fireworks!  

At the last minute we decided to head out to see the fireworks (we were a little far away from all of the action, but there was no traffic mess and we were close to home).  We knew the kids were going to be up late so with extra long naps we ended up with two happy little kids.  I think they enjoyed playing with their friends more than the actual fireworks, but it was still fun :)
