Jack & Anna

Jack got to play with Anna, his newest cousin (6 1/2 months), who is visiting from Florida. Jack has been working on his sharing skills and it can be difficult at times, but it's a work in progress.

Shape Master

Some toys are worth just about any price...our little shape master will sit and play with these for at least 30 minutes! Check out the cute PJ bottoms!

Fans!

Jack is obsessed with fans and he can't wait until the new fan is installed in his bedroom...we are just hoping that he will be able to sleep with all of the excitement. The boxes are fun to climb on too...

I Need a Nap!

Jack normally plays outside the bathroom door while I take a shower...well here he has decided to toss all of the toys overboard to make more space to take a little snooze!

Another afternoon in the pool...

Once again I hesitate to say "in the pool" as Jack spent more time "out of the pool" with me chasing him around the yard...I think next time we will do this activity when dad is home and we can have 2 on 1 defense!

A day without Jack...what to do?

Jack had tons of fun without us at Grandma & Grandpa's and we went to MIS to cheer on our favorite NASCAR drivers...

Packing Peanuts!

We received a present in the mail from Matty & Dena and they will be happy to know how much fun Jack had with the packing peanuts (the presents were great too!)...we took the peanuts from the box and put them in a bag and yes this took a lot longer with Jack's helpful hands, but he was having way too much fun!

Shapes & Colors

We have been practicing shapes and colors...

Jack's knows all of the "normal" shapes (circle, square, triangle...), but he's getting rather good with the trapezoid, pentagon and his favorite the octagon! Now we need to start practicing with his new wooden shape box that has a parallelogram and a few other shapes that we need to remember the names of (I was impressed with myself for knowing parrallelogram!).

Jack is getting pretty good with his colors and his favorite color is BLUE!

Little RED Car

Here is Jack in his "new" (actually a $5 neighborhood garage sale find) red car...he is used to being pushed around in his blue car, but this car requires a bit more work on Jack's part...he needs more practice, but he did manage to go backwards!

Share Cars

Here is Jack showing you how he likes to share his cars...as you can see he's not too happy about the sharing until they are returned. We have a little work to do on the concept of sharing!

Afternoon at the Dollak's

We had a great afternoon at the Dollak's! It was fun to see Jack and Landon in action (and it was lots of action!) as they were born four days apart. Jack must have had a good time because all the way home he kept saying "share cars" (not that he understood the concept of sharing).

Teething Rails...what for?

Jack knows that I am watching this time...it's funnier when he doesn't know that he has an audience...every bedtime and naptime Jack removes the teething rails on the sides of his bed. He is helpful when he wakes up as he likes to tell us where they go!

The funny part about Jack playing with his trains...he usually has to sit in the middle of the track!
