The Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier

Jack has been obsessed with ferris wheels for quite some time and today was finally the big day!  We all rode on the ferris wheel at Navy Pier and saw the amazing Chicago skyline (Jack was more interested in the swing ride that is next to the ferris wheel!).

Brookfield Zoo

We spent Sunday at the Brookfield Zoo...

The giraffes are always fun!

Jack LOVES owls and we found 5 of them at the zoo today!

The Big Box

We ordered a printer and it came in this HUGE box and these two have been playing with it ever since...

...a better picture (that I didn't take) would have been when I came home from the store and J & J were in the box watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while Dad was napping in the chair!

Yeah...it's over the net!

It was a much better day at the tennis courts...

I could see the big smile when he hit the ball AND it made it over the net (see the ball in the air!)!

We entertained ourselves with a few pictures while Jack was at his tennis lesson...

Tennis

Jack had his first tennis lesson this morning!  I sure hope that the instructors have TONS of patience.  The little guy was a bit discouraged because he couldn't hit the ball.  Hopefully he is willing to go back on Wednesday!

Kite Festival

This morning we went to a kite festival!  The temperature was perfect and it was a bit on the windy side...obviously great for flying kites!

Party in the Pit

Our subdivision had a "Party in the Pit" to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of the summer.  So that meant bouncy houses two weekends in a row plus balloon animals and cotton candy! What more could a kid ask for?!

Choo Choo Johnny's

The kids love Choo Choo Johnny's!  They have only been a few times, so it was a nice treat and 1/2 price thanks to a Groupon!
