Jumpin' Jax

This morning was our first trip to Jumpin' Jax Bounce Arena and Jack and Julia both loved it!  Before we left Jack and Isaac both made friends with two older girls (if only they had been there when we arrived!) and they were having a blast!

Miss Julia - 16 Months

Miss Julia you are 16 months old today!  

Your favorite word is drink, or as you say "dink"  If anyone has a drink Julia must have one too!  You run up and pound on the fridge and yell "dink". 

Your new favorite books are Whoever You Are and Guess Who, Elmo.

Your favorite toys are the Weebles Tree house, Jack's Toy Story puzzle (you really don't like it when the pieces are in), Jack's Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, and the ride on car (or the bus...you are not as choosy as Jack).

You sleep with your baby and Mickey Mouse.  It's easy to get you to bed, we just ask where Mickey and baby are and you are happy to join them!

You love to color, you get the paper and the crayons out of the closet to color at least twice a day.

You love to try clothes on!  You will bring me mittens or a hat to put on while you are playing and you pull things out of your closet that you want on (usually a tutu or dress!).  

You finally got some new teeth, right after Christmas three new teeth arrived within a week!

Your napping schedule is still the same, morning and afternoon.  You definitely need your morning nap on Tuesdays and Thursdays when we get up early for Jack to go to school.  

You love to eat, but have recently decided that you don't like to eat vegetables and pasta (unless it's Mac and Cheese).  You love blueberries, bananas, yogurt, crackers and chicken.

Happy 16 months to our sassy little diva!

Winter Wonderland Dance

Mommy & Jack went to the Mother/Son (or Father/Daughter) Winter Wonderland Dance at school last night.  We even had our picture taken (I really need to scan it, but this will have to do for now!)...

Besides running wild I think Jack's favorite part was all of the snacks!  

CHEESE!

I didn't get any really good pictures because Jack was moving way to fast! 

 It looks like they are dancing, but this was Jack giving the Principal's daughter a hug!

Love Seat?

 I walked into Julia's bedroom this morning and this is what I found....Jack and Julia had both squeezed themselves into Julia's new little chair!  They even stayed there long enough for me to run downstairs and grab the camera!  They were drinking tea...

Crazy as it may seem...Jack wanted his picture taken today!  CHEESE!

Better watch out Jack it looks like Julia is getting quite friendly with George!

Chuck E Cheese & Swimming

It was a busy morning for Jack...first a birthday party for a preschool friend at 9:30 at Chuck E Cheese...Jack loved it!  He had never been before and it was almost too much excitement for the little guy!  Buttons to push, games to play, rides and one of his favorites...putting the tokens in the slots!

Thanks to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Hot Dog Dance Jack even got up to dance with Chuck E! 

We had to leave the party a bit early to head on over to the first swimming class of the season!  Julia's class starts before Jack so she was already in the pool with Daddy, but she didn't stay in for long.  She had already had a meltdown and it didn't help when she saw her Mommy (guess who will be swimming next week!)...

Jack loved his class with Daddy (nice toy Jack...the Princess Barbie frisbee!)...

One more month...

 ...until Valentine's Day and Julia is ready!

Snow Time

Last Friday we ventured outdoors for a bit (by a bit I mean it took the three of us longer to get all of our gear on than we stayed outside!).  I quickly learned that walking in boots is much more difficult than walking in shoes or bare feet...Julia could barely stand up in the boots and the snow gear!

It only looks like she is making a snow angel...

Jack loves to play outside after he gets over the fact that he must wear snow pants...

We won't be venturing out today, it's currently a whopping 14 degrees!

Binoculars & Another New Skirt!

Jack and the binoculars...Jack got these binoculars for Christmas from cousins Reagan and Ryan and he wears them all the time!  We can't keep them in his room at night because he wants to wear them to bed. He even tried to pull a fast one with Dad last night...Jack says, "put them on the train table Daddy"!  What so you can get them as soon as we leave the room ;)  Jack looks out the window with his binoculars (using the big and little sides!) and the funniest was when he was opening cupboards and looking in with them!  Yesterday was his turn for show and tell at preschool and he had to bring in a present from Christmas...he brought the binoculars to show all of his friends.

Don't leave a cereal box on the counter...this is what happens at our house!  

Julia's newest little skirt...I love it!

It's out of control...

It's out of control with these little "cars"!  Julia just got the pink one from Aunt Anne for Christmas and Jack already had the yellow one.  Jack rarely paid any attention to his until Julia got one and now they fight over both of them!  It's the first toy that has created so much controversy that I have threatened to take both of them away!  Is this a preview of ages 16 and 18, if so we are in BIG trouble!
